Three very nice, very inexpensive wines I recently found at Trader Joe's:Babble 2008 Mendocino County Red Wine - 6.99 - a red blend featured in their recent special flyer, nice complexity and depth, smooth finish.Try La Finca wines from Argentina - at only 3.99, a real bargain, and quite well-crafted - I tried the Malbec (deep and fruity, smooth, not sure of year, but I believe it was a 2011) first, and it was such a good experience, that I went back and bought the Tempranillo (2011), which was fruity and smooth, with a long finish. I had the Tempranillo with roast pork, but it would go well with stews, other grilled meats, and pizza.

I tried the Corazon de Plata Syrah-Tannat before I received this list. You rated it 87, and Wilfred Wong rated it 90 points, which I certainly think it deserves. It has real up-front fruit, is exceptionally smooth, is very deep in flavor, and is well-balanced. Never tasted the tannat grape before, but it's a winner and adds a lot of character to this wine. For 6.52 a bottle - you've got to be kidding!

I also purchased the Trumpeter Malbec from Argentina at Bevmo, rated 91 by WW, from the prestigious Rutini Winery, 6.52 a bottle also, but I didn't see it on your list. Haven't tried it yet.

I know it takes a lot of time to put these lists from the 5-cent sale together, but I wish there was some way you could get them out to us sooner, because, by the time we get them, the sale is almost over and some of the wines are sold out. This list is very helpful. I waited until last week, but then I went and shopped.

Do you have any interest in someone like me sending you reviews, from time to time, of wines under 20 bucks I drink that I think are exceptional for the price. I belong to the Best Buy Wine Club from K&L, and almost everything they select for the club is exceptional, and about 10 bucks a bottle for members, a couple dollars more for non-members. I'm always trying new wineries. Great to live in the Bay Area!
